World Book Day

For the sixth year running, we are hosting “Book Week”, a special week packed with events and competitions to celebrate the power of books. This will take place from March 4th to March 8th 2019.

Author of One of Us, Jeannie Waudby, will be visiting our school on World Book Day, Thursday 7th March, to work with Year 9 students. Jeannie will also be signing books in the main foyer at lunchtime.

“One of Us is a remarkable tale which reminds us that there is a difference between what is right and what is easy, as well as the fact that the people who we believe to be our mortal enemies aren’t so very different from us after all. At a time when the world is filled with huge divides between sexes, races, religions and more, this book couldn’t be more fitting.”
