Due to the expansion of our school, we are looking to appoint an exceptional professional who will join a highly successful, enthusiastic and talented Safeguarding team. The role will be to deputise the Deputy Headteacher and lead on the day to day running of safeguarding and child protection across the school. The role involves supporting students in a number of ways, including, highlighting, monitoring and tracking vulnerable children and those with outside support. You will work closely with the pastoral team including the SENDCo, establishing excellent working relationships and working with outside agencies. The position involves attending social care and outside agency meetings, developing and delivering a staff training programme, establishing internal support, working closely with the school counsellor, attendance officer and liaising with parents. Experience in these areas is desirable.

Teaching Assistant Vacancies

Come and work with us as a Teaching Assistant and provide learning support for identified pupils with Education and Healthcare Plans. You will need to be able to assist them with their work and have a genuine interest in their development. You will need to have the skills to work with groups of students or with individuals and experience of working in schools or with large groups of teenagers would be advantageous.

We would especially welcome applications from graduates with a view to progressing onto the Graduate Teacher Programme. Candidates wishing to join the scheme will need to be educated to degree level.
