We are looking to appoint a high quality Teaching Assistant to provide learning support for an identified student with an Education Healthcare plan including a disability.

This role will involve assisting the classroom teacher.  You will need to be able to explain instructions to pupils and help them carry out the work set.  You will need to have the skills to work with groups of pupils or with individuals and experience of working in schools or with large groups of teenagers will be advantageous. 

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.10pm (including a 30 minute per day unpaid lunch break – except Tuesday where the hours are 8.20am to 3.30pm (unpaid lunch break is for 20 minutes). You will be paid to work your 20 minutes break time each day. Term time only 39 weeks per year/paid 44.3 weeks.

Due to the expansion of our school, we are looking to appoint an exceptional professional who will join a highly successful, enthusiastic and talented team and work with us to inspire our students. The role will involve teaching History and would be suitable for an experienced teacher or an NQT.  History is a popular subject throughout the school and their results are consistently impressive.

Debden Park High School is a heavily oversubscribed Outstanding Academy that constantly achieves outstanding outcomes for its students. Last year our Progress 8 score at GCSE was +0.44, making us the 7th most successful school for progress in Essex (based on P8.)
