We are looking to appoint an exceptional professional who will join a highly successful, enthusiastic and talented Expressive Arts team and work with us to inspire our students. The role will involve teaching Music alongside the Team Leader for Expressive Arts who is a Music specialist. It would be suitable for either an NQT or a more experienced teacher who is looking to develop in an inspirational school.

Our Expressive Arts team are passionate and dynamic, and thrive on collaboration. As a staff body we are well resourced and dedicated to developing the full potential of our students. The successful candidate will be someone who is innovative and committed to moving learning forward in an exciting and active way. Music is a popular choice at GCSE and A Level, our results are impressive and our curriculum is enriched with regular performance opportunities.

Debden Park High School is a heavily oversubscribed Academy that Ofsted judged to be Outstanding in January 2017. We constantly achieve outstanding outcomes for our students. Our new Sixth Form opened in September 2015 and moved into its own building in September 2016. The Sixth Form currently has 150 students in it.

We lead a family of schools as part of the Kemnal Academies Trust and as a national teaching school we provide exceptional career progression and bespoke CPD experiences for our staff.

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and proactive professional to work with us to continue to support our students. We are looking to appoint a high quality Cover Supervisor. Your primary role will be to supervise lessons when a teacher is absent. Work will be set by the teacher and your role will be to ensure that students remain on task, complete the work and to maintain good order. You will need to be able to explain instructions to students and help them carry out the work set. This may involve some explanation. You will need to have the skills to work with groups of students or with individuals and experience of working in schools or with large groups of teenagers would be advantageous.

We would especially welcome applications from graduates with a view to progressing onto the Graduate Teacher Programme. Candidates wishing to join the scheme will need to be educated to degree level.

Come and work with us as a Teaching Assistant and provide learning support for identified pupils with Education and Healthcare Plans. You will need to be able to assist them with their work and have a genuine interest in their development. You will need to have the skills to work with groups of students or with individuals and experience of working in schools or with large groups of teenagers would be advantageous.
