Are you interested in a career in teaching? Would you like to gain some extra experience to secure a trainee teacher placement?

Come and work with us as a Teaching Assistant and provide learning support for identified pupils with Education and Healthcare Plans. You will need to be able to assist them with their work and have a genuine interest in their development. You will need to have the skills to work with groups of students or with individuals and experience of working in schools or with large groups of teenagers would be advantageous.

We would especially welcome applications from graduates with a view to progressing onto the Graduate Teacher Programme. Candidates wishing to join the scheme will need to be educated to degree level.

We are looking to appoint a high quality Teaching Assistant to provide learning support for an identified student with an Education Health Care Plan including a disability.

It is desirable that candidates will be educated to degree level and it is essential that you have genuine interest in supporting students. Debden Park High School has been awarded Teaching School Status and would especially welcome applications from graduates with a view to progressing onto a Teacher Training programme.

The role will involve supporting the student and assisting classroom teachers. You will need to be able to explain instructions to students and support them to carry out the work set.

You will need to have the skills to work with groups of students or with individuals and experience of working in schools or with large groups of teenagers would be advantageous. Working hours are 30hrs & 30 minutes over 5 days per week between the hours of 8.20am to 3.10pm Term Time only.
